The afternoon was a great success, with wonderful food and so much of it, fantastic venue and just the right size, and the quilt received so many admiring comments. We hung it up after we had presented it to her and their was a crowd gathering around it for quite a long time with many compliments on your work.
Thank you once again for such a fantastic gift which will be an heirloom for many years to come. She often looks at it and is always thanking us for doing it for her.

Hi Sharryn,
Wow, what an amazing quilt! I just wanted to let you know I gave it to my wife last night and she was so overwhelmed she cried... It shows all her family who live in the US who she always misses, especially around her birthday.
I'm so happy she loves it, thankyou so much for the careful effort you put in...It is absolutely flawless. We still both cannot believe how beautiful it is. Thanks also for putting up with my pedantic requests re design, it was all worth it (how good do the diamonds look?!)
I'll make sure I take a pic of her with it and send your way...It's funny, she doesn't actually want to use it for fear of it getting dirty!

We received the quilt Wednesday. We had a little Christmas this morning due to Daniel leaving Tuesday and he loved it! It's spread along the back of the couch for now and he keeps looking at it saying how much he likes it lol. Thankyou so much for making the beautiful quilt for him, I know he will appreciate it even more when he is away from home.

Dear Sharryn
I was absolutely thrilled with the quilt given to me by my daughter, Elizabeth, while I was in Sydney.
I transferred it from my double bed at Elizabeth's place to my unit here in Queensland. To be able to see ALL the family each night and morning is a real joy - I love them all.

Well Ellie absolutely loved the Quilt, she was very surprised and loved the choice of fabric, and thought the photos were brilliant.
Her Uncle who is in the shot with her in her formal dress cried when he saw it. (His fiancé, my sister, has never seen him cry!!)
Everyone who has seen the quilt are quite astounded at how beautiful it is, well done. Many had never seen or heard of a memory quilt...
